These photographs were taken by Chloe Learoyd who is a pupil at Medina High School and worked at R.M Hillier (T/A Beken and Son) for a week on Work Experience.
Although keen on photography and possibly a career option in the future, Chloe had very little experience of taking photographs on digital cameras but within hours was producing some very good results.
Because she had to remain within a short distance of the shop, the subjects available to her were limited but away from the Work Experience programme she will be able to put her new skills to use on a much wider area and I look forward to seeing how she progresses.
Chloe will be working part time in the shop during the summer as a sales assistant and running the new Camera Phone section.As she has a sense of humour to match her ability at all aspects of working in a photographic retail shop, it should be a very enjoyable summer.
